“THE LOW TABLE THAT GETS BIG”

HISTORY

Working as an architect and living in a small Parisian apartment makes me sensitive to the needs of small living spaces in big cities. Looking for an adaptable and functional furniture for my personal use, with distinctive lines and quality materials, when I could not find a table that met my expectations I decided to design and manufacture it myself.

This is how the first AUPA prototype was born, a Spanish word with which children ask to be lifted on their parents’ shoulders. This same desire inspired a high-end low table to be transformed, with a simple gesture, into a dining or work surface. The visual lightness of its design contrasts with the solidity of its handcrafted wood.
